- Reducing: Patients will learn and practice weight management skills. Of course the staff will always be available to help you. It will become easier for you to stay committed when you begin to experience weight loss.
- Adapting: Once you have reached your weight loss goal you will continue to a healthier you. This phase varies depending on if you are using your own foods or using protein supplements during the reducing phase. If you were using supplements the consultant will guide you as you gradually transition back to eating grocery meals. You will most likely be able to increase your caloric intake.
- Maintenance: You have reached your weight loss goal but the journey doesn’t end. You will have made some major changes in your eating habits and it is important for you to stay engaged in a structured weight maintenance program.
